How to order / register EasyTrans ?

Ordering and delivery of EasyTrans:

The order form could be found in the menu 'Registering' of the EasyTrans trial version. Filling out this dialog you will create an orderform that is saved in a file. Using this file, it becomes possible that the software protection of your current XRapS version will be disabled without the need to receive another new version of XRapS.

Please fill out at least all fields marked with an asterix (*) and save the orderform in a file of your own choice. Please give each registration of XRapS an individual Comment to identify ..., in particular, if you plan to purchase more than one license. Please feel free to enter the comment you like.

After this, printout the file and fill out the information about the payment and sign the order. Then you have to send the printed order together with the original file to us: Either both by mail, e.g. the file on floppy, or the printed order by fax and the file by e-mail. We always need both: the printed and signed order and the file. You have always to order a new license for each installation of XRapS on different workstations/PCs, also if you already purchased several licenses. In such a case, we need the printed and signed order form and the file, too, but no additional charges will be due. You can ignore the price on the order form! The printed form is only used to verify you as a licensed user!

After registering, you will receive for each workstation/PC a file named license.key. This file must be copied to a certain directory according to the instructions that could be found in the pulldown menu 'Registering' under 'Install the license key...'. After re-starting XRapS you will have full access to all features of the program.

The validation of a purchased license of XRapS is carried out by testing the hardware environment of the local workstation/PC. Of course, from time to time one or more components of a system will change. Then, XRapS will probably switch back to the limited test version, although you purchased it. If this happens, please contact our support, that will create a new license key immediately and for free.


International orders have to be paid using a credit card. Usually, we deliver the program via internet. If you order the program on CD-ROM we will send it by mail (air-mail).


General Business Conditions, Copyright and Warranty:

Read the following conditions very carefully before using the software. If you do not agree to them do not use the program and delete all related files from your harddisk.

Trial version:

You are allowed to test the trial version extensively for 30 days and to use all the included data files. You are also allowed to redistribute the program and all included files free of charge, as long as you do not modifiy anything. As modification will be considered the ommisson of files or the change of the contents of a file. You are not allowed to add without our written permission the program and its documentation to any comercial program. Any use of the program beyond the 30-day trial period violates international copyrights.

Full version (single license):

You are allowed to install a single license of the full version only on one computer. The simultaneous installation onto more than one computer requires the purchase of a multiple license.

Full version (Multiple license):

A multiple license allows the purchaser to install the program onto more than one computer of his company/university or institution. It must be guaranteed that not more installations are made than licenses are purchased. The licenses are all issued for the same name/institution/company and allows the staff and other entitled persons to use the program.

Disclaimer of Warranty:

We try to develop our software with as less errors as possible. However, no software is completely free of errors and their number grows with the growing complexity of the software. Therefore this software iincluding its files is sold "as is" and without warranties as to performance or merchantability or any other warranties whether expressed or implied. Because of the many possible hardware and software environment into which EasyTrans my be put, no warranty of fitting for a particular purpose is offered. Good data processing procedures dictate that any program be thoroughly tested by you with non-critical data before relying on it. The user assumes the entire risk of using the program. Any liability of the seller will be limited exclusively to product replacement or refund of the purchase price for the single license, independendly of how many licenses have been purchased. Nevertheless, we ask you to inform us about errors you encountered, and we will try to fix the bugs. But we give no warranty that all bugs could be fixed.

Development of the program:

EasyTrans will be developed under a Linux-OS using the GNU C++ - compiler and the Qt-library of the norwegian company Troll Tech, Oslo. For the Windows-OS we use version 6.0 of the Microsoft Visual-C++ - compiler.

Place of performance, Jurisdiction:

Place of perfomance and jurisdiction is Langen/Hessen, Germany.

Applicable law:

These conditions and the contract shall be interpreted and enforced in accordance with the domestic laws of the Federal Republic of Germany.

Severability:

Should individual terms of these conditions, or of the conditions of the contract, be wholly or partly invalid, the validity of the remaining terms shall remain untouched by this.
